Abstract: |
<p>The rainfall gauge network is equipped with tipping buckets (DAVIS Rain Collector 6465M, resolution 0.2mm). The collecting area is 214 cm². The raw data, corresponding to the number of tipping per minute, are UT referenced.</p> <p>A static and dynamic calibration was carried out following the WMO Norm [1]. The calibration procedure involves a peristaltic pump and a precision weighing under variable intensity ranging from 10 to 800mm/h. A calibration curve was fitted for each gage. Further analysis indicates that the same calibration relationship can be used for all gages without introducing significant distortion.
