Abstract:

This dataset has been collected thanks to the long-term partnership with Mahatma Gandhi University, India. The dataset holds detailled phytolith counts and statistics.Phytoliths were extracted from termite mounds build by Odontotermes obesus in the Mule Hole long term observatory. Comparison was done between samples collected from the outer-wall of termite mounds and in the soil at 0-5 and 70-120 cm soil layers.
