| This dataset has been collected thanks to the long-term partnership with Department of Agricultural Land Management (DALaM), Lao PDR, which granted the permission for field access, and to the financial, scientific, technical, and/or logistical support of the Multiscale TROPIcal CatchmentS (SNO M-TROPICS; https://mtropics.obs-mip.fr/) critical zone observatory (previously MSEC).
This shapefile dataset includes the boundaries of sub-catchments of the Houay Pano catchment, northern Lao PDR. Boundaries were defined based on the digital elevation model (10 x 10 m) of the catchment, the location of the monitoring stations of the M-TROPICS critical zone observatory and of the inlet and the outlets of the headwater wetlands, and using the automatic watershed delineation tool of ArcSWAT (Arnold et al., 2012) embedded in ArcGIS 10.3.
