Description This table file contains the complete structured metadata associated with the Trypanosoma cruzi cryobank. Each row corresponds to a unique parasite isolate or biological clone preserved at −150 °C, and each column represents a standardised metadata field describing taxonomic identity, provenance, host context, laboratory history, biological characterisation, and storage information. The table includes core identifiers (internal ID, isolate code, species, DTU classification, reference source), detailed geographic provenance (country, administrative subdivisions, locality, ecological origin), host and transmission context (host species, taxonomic order, common name, transmission cycle, date of isolation), laboratory and biological information (culture status, molecular characterisation when available, relevant notes), and cryopreservation metadata (date of stabilisation, storage protocol, and precise physical freezer coordinates such as rack, box, row, and column). A verification field documents stock validation and quality control status.
