Description	This data results from a List Experiment survey (namely, the LE study) designed to examine male perspectives on Gender-Based Violence (GBV). We assess male justifications for and use of GBV in terms of verbal, physical and sexual violence, as well as support for FGM and girl child marriage among a representative sample of 1,200 adult males living in Bamako, (cf. Bertelli O., T. Calvo, E. Lavallée, M. Mercier, S. Mesplé-Somps (2025) What one thinks, what one says and what one does: male justifications and practices of gender-based violence in Mali. Journal of Development Economics [in press]). This dataset provides : the survey data, the pilot survey data, the questionnaire, the consent form, the approval of the experimental protocol, the code (Stata scripts) to replicate the tables of the article. The data have been collected thanks to Groupe de Recherche en Economie Appliquée et Théorique GREAT partnership. (2025-04-16)
