ADvENS Team

The ADvENS team performs integrative analyses of the diversity and environmental adaptation of tropical and Mediterranean trees. In particular, the team aims to better understand the evolution of genomes, transcriptomes and metabolisms associated with local adaptation of tree species and seed chemical diversity. The team combines complementary skills and expertise enabling to conduct multilevel approaches that integrate genomics, analytical chemistry and physiology. Such researches will help predicting the adaptive potential of forest tropical species in the context of global change, and will also support a better valorisation of underutilized agrobiodiversity and its chemical richness.
