IRD has developed the RainCell app Bamako project, an Early Flood Warning System (EWS) for the city of Bamako. The project was carried out in partnership with the Civil Protection of Mali (DGPC ), MALI-METEO and the National Hydraulic Directorate (DNH ). Funded by the Korean Green Growth Fund (KGGTF, a trust fund managed by the World Bank, selection 1212152), RainCell app Bamako aims to demonstrate the feasibility of using the Rain Cell Africa method operationally in Bamako.


L' IRD a développé le projet RainCell app Bamako , un démonstrateur d'alerte précoce aux inondations pour la ville de Bamako. Le projet a été mené en partenariat avec la Protection Civile du Mali (DGPC ), MALI-METEO et la Direction Nationale de l'Hydraulique (DNH ). Financé par le Korean Green Growth Fund (KGGTF, un fonds fiduciaire géré par la Banque mondiale, sélection 1212152), RainCell app Bamako vise à démontrer la faisabilité de l'utilisation opérationnelle de la méthode Rain Cell Africa à Bamako.
