DIversity - Adaptation - plant DEvelopment

The DIADE Research Unit aims to understand the diversification of tropical plants, one of the main original reservoirs of biodiversity, and for which conservation, management and exploitation are an important issue for Sustainable Development.

The nine teams forming the Unit belong to IRD, University of Montpellier, CIRAD, and CNRS.

High species richness is observed in certain shrublands on infertile substrates. Mineral nutrients are likely to be the primary limiting resources in these ecosystems, and below-ground plant interactions may be crucial to understanding their diversity. Using ionomics, we investig...

Vigouroux, Yves; Vadez, Vincent; Charles Thomas Hash; Jana Kholova; Laura Gregoire, 2024, "Supplementary data for: Transpiration efficiency variations in the pearl millet reference collection PMiGAP", https://doi.org/10.23708/2VJ0TQ, DataSuds, V1, UNF:6:YeYpXbwVQg7f+IV2TyuBBA== [fileUNF]
Transpiration efficiency (TE), the biomass produced per unit of water transpired, is a key trait for crop performance under limited water. As water becomes scarce, increasing TE would contribute to increase crop drought tolerance. This study is a first step to explore pearl mille...
